D-D Multi function float switch system, supplied by 123 Aquatics with a complete low voltage solenoid is designed to counter the effects of evaporation of fish tank water.

Evaporation from a saltwater system will gradually increase the salinity of the aquarium water and create a potentially stressful situation for its inhabitants.

The new D-D water top up system is simple to use and will remove the daily chore of manual replacement of evaporated water.

Each model consists of a transformer/controller which allows the system to operate safely at low voltage, a fully adjustable magnetic float switch with universal clamp and snail guard and one of three optional control devices.

Option 1. - RUW12LVP – Low voltage Pump

This unit is supplied complete with a low voltage top-up pump and a length of clear hose which fits into the float switch control block. The pump is placed in the freshwater reservoir and supplies water to the sump or aquarium. Note that the maximum head on the pump is 1-1.2m for top up purposes.

Option 2. - RUW230MO – Mains Pump

This model is fitted with a 230V mains outlet socket to allow any pump or piece of equipment to be added to it. Ideal for topping up over longer distances or greater heads than is possible with option 1.
