The Clearseal basemat, supplied by 123 Aquatics is a perfect base to sit a glass aquarium on. The clearseal basemat is made from a thick and dense black foam which levels the aquarium and removes imperfections in the surface.
Whilst it is not a replacement for a flat surface it is superb to remove minor imperfectons ensuring a level surface. If the original surface is not almost flat the glass aquarium may be damaged.
The base mate is available in the following sizes 18x12" 24x12" 24x15" 30x12" 36x12" 36x15"
The basemat is easily cut to size for non standard aquariums.At 123 Aquatics we recommend that a Clearseal basemat be used between any aquarium and its intended stand.
