The eheim filter media set for the eheim 2076 and eheim 2078 range of external filters contains 4 white fine filter pads and 1 blue course pad. Both pads will trap both large and fine particles of aquarium debris but the fine foam/pads will require more frequent changing of pads to ensure free flowing water through the canister filter.
Eheim filter media is some of the best on the aquatic market and encourages both mechanical, biological and where appropriate chemical filtration.
