Medikoi Growth pond fish food has been scientifically formulated to provide the optimum level of healthy but rapid growth and low waste. The high protein level of 40% in this koi food is partnered with a relatively higher oil content of 7.3%. The oil in this Medi Koi food provides the energy source so that the maximum amount of protein can be used for growth, but not too high so there is no oily slick in your garden pond.
The highly digestible formulation of this koi food ensures that there is much less fish waste as more of the food is metabolized by your koi fish. For best results, we recommend that you feed Medikoi Growth in the warmer months when temperatures exceed 12 C. In Winter, your koi carp and other pond fish require a wheatgerm-based fish food, such as Medikoi Wheatgerm with Garlic.
In conjunction with the Medikoi Health & Beauty programme, Medikoi Growth pond fish food can either be used as a substitute for Medikoi Beauty or as a second feed whilst feeding Medikoi Health koi food.
