Tetra Pond Filter Zym, supplied by 123 Aquatics promotes the development of natural pond filter bacteria, for healthier garden pond and water features. It creates ideal conditions for establishing beneficial bacteria accelerating the breakdown of organic debris, such as fish waste, uneaten food and sludge. It helps to promote and accelerate the natural breakdown of ammonia and nitrite.
Filterzym comes in a 10 capsule packet and you should use 3 capsules for new filters, following the replacement of media, after switching the filter back on after periods of inactivity, after cleaning the filter and following disaese treatment and use 2 capsules every 4 weeks for long term bioactivity in the filter.
