The Ubbink Air Pump Outdoor, available from 123 Aquatics, is a highly effective pond air pump which is ideally suited to applications where the air pump cannot be housed; this Ubbink air pump has a protective case to allow it to be positioned next to the pond with no form of housing (e.g. a shed). For ponds where an air pump can be easily housed, we also supply the Ubbink Air Pump (indoor version).

Adding oxygen into a fishpond with an air pump is very important for fish health, particularly in densley stocked ponds and in the summer months when oxygen levels decline. Fish will become visibly more active in an oxygen-rich pond, so the fishkeeper can clearly see the benefits of having a pond air pump in their koi and other fish. An air pump can also be used in winter months to stop the pond freezing over and trapping harmful gases and substances, which can be very harmful to fish.
