The lamp stand is for use in suspending metal dome or wire basket lamp fixtures. It easily adjusts to fit most standard size terrariums and suspends heat fixtures that would otherwise be difficult to secure or use.

It is also used to help prevent accidental knocking over or tipping of heat fixtures with a special clip to keep power cords secure and out of the way.
