The Exo Terra Repti Glo Compact Fluorescent bulb, supplied by 123 Aquatics, is self-ballasted and  a compact size. The shape of the bulb enables varied mounting without compromising performance.

It is recommended to combine a high UVB output, such as the Repti Glo 5.0 and Repi Glo 10.0, with the Repti Glo 2.0 for optimal results.

The Exo Terra Repti Glo 2.0 is a general light source with a high visual light output and a very high Colour Rendering Index (CRI), but a lower UVB radiation. This bulb is suitable for snakes, all amphibians (frogs, toads and salamanders) and nocturnal animals.

Fluorescent bulbs do not provide sufficient heat. A separate heat source is required in addition (e.g. an incandescent basking lamp).

 A regular screw fitting is sufficient to operate these bulbs.
